Crew entertainment has seen a boom in recent years as many owners and operators are realising the benefits of keeping crew content with satellite TV and the like.

Seatel Satellite TV at Sea

Models 3004, 4004 and 5004

These models consist of a stabilized 30 to 50 inch diameter antenna enclosed in an attractive radome, a new antenna control unit and an optional Touchscreen Controller. The active antenna stabilizer electronically senses the yacht\'s motion and compensates assuring a clear and reliable signal. The antenna control unit provides the operation interface to the system and communication with the antenna system. The optional Touchscreen Controller allows you to automatically select the proper satellite, perform diagnostics and troubleshoot as necessary.

Sea Tel DBS/DTH systems work with all commonly used satellite receivers in the US, Caribbean and Mediterranean. In the US, the digital satellite receiver includes the access card to receive and decode the digital satellite programming and provides easy to understand, on-screen programming guides. In the United States the 04 series antennas are available with High Definition Direct TV Programming. The satellite receiver\'s remote control is used to navigate through the on-screen display. For those yachts with more than one television set, all Sea Tel DBS/DTH systems easily accommodate additional DBS/DTH satellite receivers. This allows each TV-viewer on-board to watch the show of their choice without concern for what others might watch elsewhere in the ship.

Sailing in European waters, the Mediterranean, the southern Caribbean or along the South American coast? You\'ll want our larger DBS/DTH antennas to receive the lower powered satellite signals in these areas. These models bring in clear satellite TV images long after lesser antennas have given up. So long as your ship is large enough to support them, these are the models to choose when you want to be assured of quality television programming anywhere there is a satellite TV signal available to be captured.
