DSV Adams Challenge Contract Won
(2/9/2008) MES have been awarded a contract working with Astilleros Balenciaga to supply and fit the integrated bridge equipment onboard Adams Offshore newest vessel the DSV Adams Challenge. The vessel will be a dynamically positioned diesel electric powered multi role offshore support vessel with a dual redundant dynamic positioning system configured to and suitable for supporting a wide range of offshore support activities.

Microswitch Telephone Exchange
The microSwitch Digital Telephone Exchange is specially designed for use on-board ships giving both internal and external communications.
The system is fully digital, but uses readily available analogue telephones, giving maximum flexibility in operation at low cost.
The system has a maximum capacity of 40 extensions.
The advanced trunk line functions gives access to 4 Shore, Satcom or Cellular systems and 2 Public Address outputs.
The system uses a separate dual power supply giving automatic changeover with no-break operation.
Normal telephone functions are available including priority intrusion, controlled trunk access, hot-line, group hunting etc. with all functions fully user programmable.
Designed for bulkhead mounting with a built-in screw terminal MDF, the microSwitch Digital exchange is ideal for both new-build and retrofit markets.
