DSV Adams Challenge Contract Won
(2/9/2008) MES have been awarded a contract working with Astilleros Balenciaga to supply and fit the integrated bridge equipment onboard Adams Offshore newest vessel the DSV Adams Challenge. The vessel will be a dynamically positioned diesel electric powered multi role offshore support vessel with a dual redundant dynamic positioning system configured to and suitable for supporting a wide range of offshore support activities.

4 Standby Vessels for North Star Shipping (30th Mar 2005)
MES has been awarded the contract to provide a complete electronic navigation and communications equipment package for 4 Offshore Standby Vessels to be built for North Star Shipping by Astilleros Balenciaga S.A. Shipyard in Northern Spain. The package meets fully the requirements for standby vessels which includes Furuno FAR2817 and FAR2837S X & S band ARPA radars for surveillance and traffic monitoring duties and an extensive FRC communications outfit incorporating waterproof VHF radio/intercom system. MES was also awarded a separate contract for the internal communications outfit.
HMS ENDURANCE REFIT PROJECT (30th Mar 2005)
MES has completed a contract with the Ministry of Defence to provide lead design services for a major navigational equipment upgrade on the Ice Patrol Vessel HMS ENDURANCE. The equipment included in the package includes radar systems, gyrocompass, speed log, meteorological equipment, electronic chart system, GPS, navigational sounder and some internal comms. MES has recently supplied and installed a sonar for obstacle avoidance in the uncharted waters of Antarctica.
